David Moore is a retired pharmacist, living in Island Park. When he isn't working on home-owner projects, or removing snow, he might be found playing golf, fly fishing or snowmobiling in scenic Idaho and Montana.
Previously, David worked as a pharmacist/owner in Sitka, Alaska, where he served on the school board and the chamber of commerce board. Throughout his career in Idaho Falls, or in Boise as a hospital clinical pharmacist, his focus was in geriatric pharmacy and long-term care. David retired as Pharmacy Director at PharMerica in Meridian, Idaho in 2014.
Raised in Vermont, David graduated from Rutland High School, served in the US Navy and graduated from Oregon State University.
David and his wife of nearly 50 years, Joan, have two successful children and three grandchildren, all living in the Northwest. Retirement has allowed David many opportunities to serve the community. In addition to church activities, and the Ashton Memorial Board, David serves on the Island Park Preservation Coalition, the Island Park Sustainable Fire Community and the Fall River Enterprises Board of Directors.
