Larry Hammer graduated from Bonneville High School in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He earned an Associates Degree in Business from Ricks College, a Bachelor's Degree of Science from Brigham Young University in Health Education, and a Masters of Science from Brigham Young University in Health Education.
He taught math and science at Bonneville High School for 9 years and worked as a high school guidance counselor at Idaho Falls High School for 29 years, until he retired.
Larry has a great love for the outdoors. He enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, Dutch Oven cooking, photography, art, whitewater rafting, and almost anything else our of doors!
He has been married to his wonderful wife, Nelda Hammer for 50 years. They have 7 children and 26 grandchildren.
